Andrea Chambers is a former publishing executive with a wide-range of experience
in both consumer magazine and book publishing. She has held editorial positions at
Time and
PEOPLE magazines; was a vice president and executive editor at Penguin Putnam,
specializing in non-fiction political books and biographies; a development editor for Time Warner;
consulting editor for the National Geographic Society; and international editor for multiple
foreign editions of
Seventeen and creator of the magazine’s widely acclaimed scholarship program for
contributions in the field of community service. A published book author, Andrea is also an
award-winning journalist who has written and edited hundreds of articles for America’s leading
magazines and newspapers, including
The New York Times.
