During Dorothy Durkin’s 30-plus year tenure as the School’s chief marketing strategist, the School’s enrollment – now at 65,000 – quadrupled. Much of this growth is the result of her pioneering work in direct marketing, database tracking, and interactive marketing. Today, she continues to forge new strategies using customer relationship management (CRM) and strategic planning to exploit new opportunities.

Dorothy Durkin’s articles have been published in several books and many publications. Marketing Continuing Education, by Dorothy Durkin, was published by NYU-SCPS in 2003 and is an overview on how to use marketing techniques to communicate with students and prospects. Most recently, Durkin published several articles in Steal These Ideas Please, published by the University Continuing Education Association.
