Michael Oppenheimer, B.A., M.A

For the past decade, Michael Oppenheimer has worked for Washington foreign
policy makers and intelligence officials on a range of strategic work. He worked for the Chairman
of the National Intelligence Council in establishing the method and process, and in facilitating
the scenarios for Mapping the Global Future. Oppenheimer is a member of the Council on
Foreign Relations and The Foreign Policy Roundtable at the Carnegie Council on Ethics and
International Affairs. Before he joined the NYU faculty, he was president of Global
Scenarios, a New York-based consulting company, and previously was executive vice president at The
Futures Group.
