Vera Jelinek, B.A., M.A., Ph.D.
divisional dean and clinical associate professor, Center for Global Affairs
Vera Jelinek administers continuing education, graduate and public events
programs in global affairs. With NYU-SCPS for the past 24 years, she previously administered
a leadership exchange program with the developing world. Jelinek holds an M.A. in
International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and Ph.D. in
modern European history from NYU. She travels extensively and speaks a number of foreign languages
including Italian, French, Hungarian and English.
