WHAT:
Registration is now open for the 31st Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference. Hosted by the NYU Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management and sponsored by the leading hospitality organizations, the conference features general sessions, workshops, and networking that provide insight, dialogue, and opportunity for those in the hotel investment and finance industry.
HIGHLIGHTS:
On Monday, June 1, our luncheon speaker will be Jamie Dimon, chairman of the board and chief executive officer, JPMorgan Chase.
On Tuesday, June 2, conference chair Jonathan M. Tisch will address the impact of the volatile global economy on the lodging industry in his “Beyond the Boardroom” interview with NBC anchor Brian Williams.
Dean Lalia Rach will dialogue with top CEOs and discuss leadership and strategy in challenging times in our CEO Interviews – Leadership Lessons.
HONOREES:
This year's IREFAC C. Everett Johnson Award recipient is James M. Sullivan, Executive Vice President, Lodging Development, Marriott International, Inc. and Lodging Hospitality Magazine's Stephen W. Brener Silver Plate Award recipient is Stevan Porter, President of the Americas, InterContinental Hotels Group (posthumously).
The conference chair and executive planning committee are developing an extraordinary program agenda for the industry’s extraordinary times. Graduate and undergraduate students pursuing industry degrees at the NYU Tisch Center receive academic scholarships thanks to conference registration and the generosity of conference patrons and sponsors.
