The NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS) stems from a mission to combine academic study with professional application. Our mission, established nearly 80 years ago, resonates more than ever with today's 21st century professionals: to be current and competitive with skill sets and competencies that meet and anticipate the demands and opportunities of the marketplace and our changing and increasingly global economy. This commitment complements well our twin objective to provide the core industries we serve with highly skilled and critical thinkers, capable of formulating ideas and finding solutions to advance their fields of practice.
NYU-SCPS serves the educational needs of all those striving to maximize their full personal and professional potential. Whether you are exploring career alternatives, seeking to advance in your current organization, or pursuing a new area of specialization, our breadth of programming and diversity of formats provide many ways to achieve your goals.
Our faculty of expert and knowledgeable academics and practitioners work together to be certain that what you learn in the classroom has practical application in the workplace. Advisory boards and strong industry connections make curricula relevant, timely, and responsive to emerging practices and trends. And, this fall, the Wasserman Center for Career Development at SCPS launches to support SCPS undergraduate and graduate students, and alumni, with all their career development needs.
Whether you are seeking a credential or pure intellectual stimulation, SCPS exemplifies an entrepreneurial commitment to lifelong learning through its highly regarded degree programs and vigorous continuing education courses and programs, available in a variety of convenient formats: day, evening, weekends, intensives, and online. Whatever your starting point, we have a pathway that will help you to achieve your goal.
We welcome you to an enriching semester at NYU-SCPS.
