Leading Lodging Executives Convene at NYU to Discuss Lessons Learned and Future Forecasts

WHO:
Dr. Lalia Rach, Divisional Dean and HVS Professor, will moderate two panels of industry leaders in her annual “The CEOs Check In” looking for lessons learned and forecasts for the future.

The first panel titled Strategic Direction: Branded Leadership Lessons will feature Andrew Cosslett, Chief Executive, IHG; Mark S. Hoplamazian, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hyatt Hotels Corporation; David Kong, President and Chief Executive Officer, Best Western International, Inc.; and Arne M. Sorenson, President and Chief Operating Officer, Marriott International, Inc.

The second panel titled Leading Change: The Route to Results will feature Monty J. Bennett, Chief Executive Officer, Ashford Hospitality Trust; Richard M. Kelleher, Chief Executive Officer, Pyramid Hotel Group; and Jay H. Shah, Chief Executive Officer, Hersha Hospitality Trust.

WHAT:
The 32nd Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference will take place June 6-8, 2010 in New York City. Hosted by the NYU Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management and sponsored by the leading hospitality organizations, the conference features general sessions, workshops, and networking that provide insight, dialogue, and opportunity for those in the hotel investment and finance industry.

The conference chair and executive planning committee have developed an extraordinary program agenda for the industry’s extraordinary times.
