NYU-SCPS Center for Global Affairs Named Top Ten School by Foreign Policy Association

NEW YORK, November 23, 2010 - The New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies (www.scps.nyu.edu) announced that its Center for Global Affairs was recently selected by the Foreign Policy Association as one of the top ten international relations and public policy graduate programs in the United States.

The Center for Global Affairs (www.scps.nyu.edu/cga) educates and inspires students to become global citizens capable of identifying and implementing solutions to pressing global challenges. Its faculty comprises both scholars and practitioners in the field, including senior staff members of non-government organizations (NGOs), international lawyers, journalists specializing in global affairs, private sector professionals, and others whose substantive experience ensures that students receive an education that is both intellectually rigorous and grounded in a practical, real-world context.

The Center for Global Affairs offers a Master of Science in Global Affairs, Professional Certificates in Global Affairs and Global Philanthropy, continuing education courses, and study abroad programs in Geneva and Buenos Aires as well as graduate field intensives in China, Ghana, and South Africa, among others.
