NEW YORK, April 10, 2012 – The NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS) has opened registration for its Summer 2012 programs, including those with concentrated summer intensive formats. These intensive programs deliver in-depth learning experiences for professionals in a condensed format that is designed to accommodate busy schedules.
Ranging in duration from one week to 12 weeks, a wide array of summer intensive courses and programs are available during the day, evening, and weekends. More than 70 intensives are being offered this summer at NYU-SCPS, including courses in: information technology; digital design and film; foreign languages; leadership, entrepreneurship, and management; marketing; global affairs; philanthropy and fundraising; architecture, engineering and construction; real estate and writing and speech.
NYU-SCPS also offers more than 1,500 online and onsite courses and certificates taught by top industry professionals. In addition, summer institutes in global affairs, publishing, and taxation, as well as study abroad programs such as the United Nations in Geneva, East Africa Study, Modern British Drama (London), Jane Austen’s Regency England (Oxford), and Elizabeth and her Courtiers (Oxford).
Session I classes run from May 21 to June 29, and Session II courses run from July 2 to August 10.
