Application and Proficiency Testing Procedures and Fees

Domestic Applicants and Others Who Do Not Require an F-1 Student Visa

To be considered for one of these certificate programs, you must:

• Complete the online ALI^plus Domestic Application Form.
• You will receive details about registering, paying for, and completing an ALI English Placement Test after you submit your application. The ALI Online Test administration and certification fee is $100.
• If your ALI Placement level is 5 or higher, register and pay tuition for one of the ALI^plus Certificates.
• For Summer 2013, applicants who do not require an F-1 Visa, submit the ALI^plus Domestic Application Form by April 18, 2013 and complete the test and interview by April 26, 2013.
• For Summer 2013, applicants who do not require an F-1 Visa, complete all of the above and register and pay tuition by May 1, 2013.

International Applicants and Others Who Require an F-1 Student Visa

All of the ALI^plus Certificate Programs qualify for full-time, F-1 Visa study. To be considered for one of these certificate programs, you must:

• Complete the online ALI^plus International Application Form.
• You will receive details about registering, paying for, and completing an ALI English Placement Test after you submit your application. The ALI Online Test administration and certification fee is $100.
• Qualified applicants with an ALI Placement level of 5 or higher will receive the ALI I-20 Application Form and can submit the form directly, or work with one of the ALI’s official agents, who will submit the form. A non-refundable application fee of $150 is due with the I-20 Application Form.
• For Summer 2013, applicants who require an F-1 Visa, submit the ALI^plus International Application Form by April 1, 2013 and complete the test and interview by April 1, 2013.
• For Summer 2013, applicants who require an F-1 Visa, complete all of the above and submit an I-20 application by April 15, 2013.
