Opportunities and Outcomes
We live and work in a realm where design challenges technology and technology challenges design. This dynamic environment requires production artists and designers to be adaptive, innovative, creative troubleshooters, who can anticipate, and more importantly, drive new trends. The convergence of creativity, graphic design, animation, 3D, live action, sound, and interactivity has expanded visual realities in every mode of communication.
Students in the M.S. in Advanced Digital Applications train side-by-side with seasoned industry professionals, who open doors to internships, cultivate networking opportunities, and provide professional references. Industry-led special projects are a key element within the program. They help students to build their portfolios and their contacts to advance their careers. Major creative agencies and production facilities have the opportunity to preview our students’ work during the annual CADA Graduate Showcase. They often contact us when searching for qualified talent for projects and for job openings. CADA also supports students with career development courses and advising.
Students come to CADA with a variety of artistic and technical backgrounds, and immerse themselves in the rapidly transforming landscape of technology in digital media and computer graphics. After graduation, these students go on to become company owners, interactive digital artists, visual effects supervisors, motion graphic animators, game artists, post-production producers, and project leaders who are involved in areas ranging from architectural installations to gaming, and interactive branding to stereoscopic CG films.
