Summer Institute in Global Affairs

Increase your understanding of global affairs and explore international career paths by learning from experts in politics, economics, law, international relations, and more. This program covers the political, economic, social, and cultural issues that shape relations throughout the world. Through private briefings and site visits, you gain insight into the work of the United Nations, specialized international agencies, private sector firms, and nongovernmental organizations. You also participate in a global crisis decision-making exercise involving interactive negotiation and crisis resolution.  Upon successful completion, students receive the Certificate in Global Affairs, a renowned credential usually requiring six semester-long courses.
