Initiatives
As a graduate student at the Center for Global Affairs (CGA), you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in intensive coursework around the world. Study-away electives combine classroom sessions that are held in NYC with short-term fieldwork in a host country. They provide you with the chance to ground yourself in the cultural and historical aspects of a region, while examining specific contemporary political, economic, and social realities firsthand.
The NYU-SCPS Center for Global Affairs Scenarios Initiative is a mediated workshop series that is designed to encourage cross-disciplinary thinking on countries and issues critical to U.S. national interests.
