CGA Scenarios Initiative

The Center for Global Affairs (CGA) at NYU-SCPS hosts a series of events that address critical global issues. These events are free of charge, and are held in our 120-seat conference center in the Woolworth Building.  Presented in panel format, they are followed by informal receptions that allow for continued dialogue and an exchange of ideas between presenters and attendees.

The Center for Global Affairs Scenarios Initiative is a mediated workshop series designed to enable cross-disciplinary, innovative thinking regarding countries and issues critical to U.S. national interests. By inviting experts from a diverse range of specializations and international backgrounds to participate in scenario-building workshops, the Initiative aims to raise the quality of U.S. foreign policy by improving policymakers’ understanding of, and reaction to, change.

In and out of the classroom, our goal is to prepare the next generation of global citizens and to furnish them with the tools to navigate today’s complex and constantly evolving international landscape.
