Now in its 14th season, this program is a thrilling experience for anyone who loves theater.  In the morning, learn about the history of Great Britain’s exciting theater scene from World War II until the present, the golden age when audiences were introduced to some of the world’s most influential playwrights.  In the evening, attend new productions in London'’s West End and the occasional off-West End and/or Fringe playhouses (at least nine productions).

HousingThe program fee includes accommodations at NYU in Central London (private rooms with private bath and fully stocked kitchens).

TheaterThe program fee includes all theater tickets, and admission for any other theater-related afternoon activities.

AirfareAirfare is not included.

ExcursionsParticipants attend evening productions in London's West End, Off-West End, and Fringe playhouses.

Program Notes

The group meets once at NYU prior to departure. In London, class meets Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Productions are generally Monday to Thursday evenings, usually at 7:30 p.m., with a few weekday matinees. Weekend time is free.
