Director's Message

If you want to play a leading role in today’s rapidly changing business landscape, consider the graduate and noncredit programs in Leadership and Human Capital Management offered by NYU-SCPS. Our focus is to help you to grow as a professional so that you can lead winning teams, make effective decisions, and develop and implement strategies that have a positive impact in the workplace. That’s why we offer a variety of programs from leadership and organizational development, to business management practices, to entrepreneurship, coaching, training, and human capital management. Courses, certificates and degrees in these areas provide you with a clear educational and professional advantage, whether you’re just starting out, you are seeking new career direction, you are interested in advancing in your career, or you are ready to assume a senior leadership position.
Students in our M.S. in Human Resource Management and Development program, in our graduate certificate programs, as well as those taking noncredit courses or earning a noncredit certificate, all benefit from being taught by faculty members who have hands-on experience in their fields, and who bring relevant knowledge and expertise to the classroom. Our faculty members are academics and distinguished executives who hold positions from senior specialist to senior vice president. They are employed by such diverse companies as Chase, Goldman Sachs, Time magazine, Con Edison, American Express, and Pfizer.
Our courses help you to develop the knowledge base and the technical skills required to join the leadership ranks of one of the top U.S. professions–human resources. We provide the foundation for students to advance from being specialists in the traditional functions of recruitment and hiring, to being key players in implementing a company’s strategic vision. Through the connections you make in our programs, you can gain professional exposure that will serve you throughout your career. Join us and make a real difference as a professional in one of the most influential roles in today’s business environment.
