Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
The Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management provides students with a solid foundation to advance within the evolving HR profession, as well as a wide range of elective coursework in the areas of dispute resolution, team building, coaching, benefits, and communication. The graduate certificate is in complete alignment with the professional competencies outlined by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). This competency model is globally accepted as the highest professional standard for the practice of human resources.
This 18-credit program is comprised of two required courses, followed by four electives, all selected from the M.S. in Human Resource Management and Development curriculum. The program can be completed fully online, or in a traditional classroom setting, or by blending a combination of the two formats. Students wishing to matriculate into the master's program may receive credit for courses completed in this graduate certificate.
