M.S. in Integrated Marketing
Alumnus, Class of 2010
Robert L. McCutcheon graduated from college with a philosophy degree and thought about becoming a lawyer. Then his rock band landed a record deal. McCutcheon deferred law school and toured the United States and Europe for five years, performing with such artists as The Allman Brothers Band. But at the time, digital technology was turning the music industry on its head. McCutcheon, who had done some marketing work for the band, decided to find a more "sustainable" career in the digital world.
McCutcheon enrolled in the M.S. in Integrated Marketing program. Now that he’s earned his degree, McCutcheon credits the marketing curriculum and the valuable internships offered through the program with his radical professional transformation. A strategy associate at Razorfish, Inc. since June 2009, McCutcheon has worked on digital campaigns for Fortune 500 clients and has accepted a full-time position at the company. Says McCutcheon, "I’m exactly where I want to be."
