In 2010, the Center launched its Publishers Training Program at the NYU Abu Dhabi campus, which is an executive training program that helps to promote literacy and to foster the development of an expanded reading public in the Gulf, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Through its many initiatives, the Center for Publishing strives to keep publishing professionals at the forefront of the field—and at the cutting edge of the many exciting changes revolutionizing the industry. The annual NYU Media Talk series provides a forum for prominent publishers to discuss these changes and their projections for the future.
