Career development resources are an essential part of your graduate studies. The NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate offers a variety of program-specific career management workshops and career counseling sessions to support your professional growth. Students and alumni can utilize group career counseling to discuss career-related topics, job search strategies, interviewing skill, and career planning. NYU Schack's Career Development Series introduces you to industry experts and encourages an open exchange of information on job-related issues such as salary expectations and work environments. The annual Career Fair provides students with a unique opportunity to meet with representatives from key real estate firms and construction management companies.

The NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate also offers employers, students, and alumni access to the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate Job Board where you can register an account to post jobs, apply for open positions, register for workshops, and be aware of up to date annoucements related to NYU Schack.

As an NYU-SCPS student, in addition to the career resources offered through your academic program, you will enjoy the benefit of career development/management services provided by the School and the University at large. NYU-SCPS and the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development work in partnership with the School’s academic program areas to provide supplemental services and programs specifically for NYU-SCPS students. A broad range of events, programs, and customized services including personalized career assistance, job transition guidance, industry-specific information, and specialized resources are available to enhance your overall learning experience.

The Wasserman Center for Career Development helps all NYU students to take advantage of the University’s New York City location and the internship and professional opportunities it affords. The Center posts job listings; connects students with alumni and mentors; coaches students on the most effective interviewing skills; and provides career advice.

Students, alumni, and employers can contact our Associate Director, Career Development at nyuschack.career.management@nyu.edu for more information or to set up an appointment.
