Urban Leadership Award Dinner

The NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate held its 42nd Urban Leadership Award Dinner on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel. Each year 700 industry VIP's begin their evening with cocktails in the Jade and Astor reception rooms and continue into the Grand Ballroom for dinner and a brief program lauding the honoree.

This year, Mitchell E. Rudin, President and CEO of U.S. Commercial Operations, Brookfield Office Properties, Inc., received the coveted Urban Leadership Award. The award was created in 1971 to honor and recognize a professional leader who has contributed significantly to the growth and prestige of the real estate industry. Past winners of the Urban Leadership Award include: Mary Ann Tighe, Mike Fascitelli, Bruce Ratner, Bill Rudin, and Steve Ross.
