The Preston Robert Tisch Center and New York University
The Preston Robert Tisch Center offers the individual attention and close community of a small college and the resources and opportunities of NYU, one of the world’s foremost research and teaching universities and one of the largest private universities in the United States. Founded in 1831, NYU enrolls more than 40,000 students from 133 countries, who attend 18 schools and colleges in Manhattan and sites in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America. In fact, NYU was recently ranked among the five most diverse universities in America by Newsweek (and also one of the top 20 "Coolest Schools" by the Sierra Club's magazine).
Tisch Center students take classes, engage in research, and learn from faculty and students along with other NYU undergraduates, and may study abroad at one of NYU’s many global campuses. The city is our campus, whether New York City or any of NYU’s global network sites. Students embrace one, or several, of the world's most vibrant cities, its dynamic communities, and the industries that surround them as an essential element of residential life, intellectual development, and professional growth.
From dedicated centers and staff for career development and wellness, to vast library collections online and on campus, undergraduates benefit from access to all the student services of NYU, and the extensive professional and academic networks of the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
