Opportunities and Outcomes
Opportunities
spotlight
One of the largest industries in the world, hospitality and tourism is growing fast due to the disappearance of cultural and business boundaries among nations. No longer just a luxury, travel has become a necessity for many people. Combine this with population growth, higher incomes, and increased leisure time, and hospitality and tourism management becomes one of the hottest sectors in the job market.
Many individuals are able to advance in the hospitality and tourism industry with hands-on experience only, however those with industry-related graduate degrees tend to have more opportunity to advance in their careers at a faster pace and with more professional options from which to choose.
The Tisch Center provides students in the M.S. in Tourism Management program with a wealth of divisional support services and opportunities that complement classroom learning.
