Scholars Program

All Preston Robert Tisch Center students are academic achievers, but the most exemplary scholars are invited by the dean to join the Tisch Center Scholars Study Program. The program offers this select group of juniors and seniors exclusive opportunities to travel, conduct intensive field research, and engage with advisory board members and industry executives, further expanding student professional networks prior to graduation. Program initiatives foster team building, global awareness, cultural sophistication, and social responsibility.

Scholars perform community service each year in locations throughout New York City. Juniors conduct a week-long domestic or international applied research initiative, taking them in recent years to Brazil, Egypt, and South Africa. Seniors have the option to attend exclusive industry conferences or association events to enhance their networking ability and deepen knowledge of their concentration of study.

Scholars present their findings at a university-wide forum and share them with industry leaders for practical application.
