Alumni Mentorship

The Preston Robert Tisch Center alumni mentorship program is a hallmark initiative invaluable to students. With a membership of influential industry professionals positioned around the world, the Tisch Center Alumni Society (TCAS) pairs students with the most accomplished hospitality, tourism, and sports alumni to mentor the next generation of leaders.

Throughout the year, alumni mentors and students develop meaningful professional bonds through workplace shadowing, association events, and informal exchanges over coffee. Students benefit from mentor advice about career strategies, access to exclusive industry organizations and networks, and guidance on internships and electives. TCAS hosts a celebratory reception to begin and conclude the experience, but the relationships endure as students pursue new challenges and opportunities, both academic and professional.

The Alumni Society continues to support students throughout their academic and professional development, and of course, as they become NYU alumni and colleagues—extending career advice, contacts, and opportunities to advance. Tisch Center graduates also enjoy the privileges and resources affiliated with being NYU alumni.
