Arthur Miller Public Dialogues
Throughout the academic year, Tisch Center students are given the opportunity to attend a variety of industry events featuring prominent speakers and open exchanges. The Arthur Miller Panels invites various experts and professionals to unite for discussion and debate on important topics relevant to the Tisch Center program. University Professor and Director of Public Dialogues at NYU-SCPS Arthur R. Miller, a distinguished legal scholar renowned for his legendary and Emmy-earning role on the acclaimed Fred Friendly Seminars on PBS, moderates each panel.
Prior debates have explored subjects ranging from the ethics of treating concussed athletes to women in sports to the effects of terrorism on life and industry in New York. Notable guests who have featured in the panels include Eyewitness News anchor Bill Ritter, 10-year captain of the New York Giants and Professional Football Hall of Famer Harry Carson, and Karin J. Buchholz, vice president of Community Relations and Field Marketing, MSG Sports Teams.
