NYU High School Academy at SCPS

This summer, the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS) will offer high school students the opportunity to live and learn in the heart of New York City, the cultural and financial capital of the world.

One-week, professionally oriented intensive programs of study allow you to explore career options and to gain the competitive edge when applying for college. Experience university life by living in an NYU dorm.*

Enjoy the use of NYU facilities, while you take in all that NYC has to offer during the summer.

How to Apply

Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2014 program.

To apply, students must have successfully completed grades 9, 10, or 11, and must submit an application. In addition they must submit an official high school transcript and a 250-word essay.

Housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

International Students
International students who wish to participate in the NYU High School Academy may need to obtain a student visa in order to attend.  Learn More

Program Information

Application Deadline
International Students: May 1, 2014
Domestic Residential Students: June 15, 2014
Domestic Commuter Students: July 1, 2014

Tuition: $1,995 per one-week course

Student Activity Fee: $125 per week

Dining Fee (for residential students only): $160 per week
(includes 12 meals and 30 dining dollars)

*Housing Fee (optional): $219 per week (live in an NYU dorm)
