NYU-SCPS practices rolling admissions for all graduate programs but encourages applicants to apply by the following dates:
*The following programs do not admit students in the summer term: Global Affairs, Digital Imaging and Design, Hospitality Industry Studies, Sports Business, Tourism and Travel Management, and Publishing.
If you submit a complete application for Fall entry by February 1st, you will receive an admission decision by March 15th. Admission decisions for Fall applications received after February 1st will be issued after April 15th on a rolling basis. Rolling admission decisions typically take 2-3 weeks. On a space-available basis, applications for Fall admission will be accepted through August 1st**.
Spring and Summer applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Admission decisions are issued beginning in October for Spring and January for Summer. The review process typically takes 2-3 weeks. On a space available basis, applications will be accepted through December 15th** for Spring admission and May 1st for Summer admission.
If the program is filled for the term of your choice when you apply, your application will be moved to the following term.
**The final deadline for all applications to programs in Hospitality Industry Studies, Tourism and Travel Management, and Sports Business, is generally two weeks earlier than other programs due to the requirement that students attend the Tisch Center Graduate Student Orientation.
International applicants who plan to study on a student visa must apply by the application deadlines for international students.
