Individuals interested in taking graduate-level courses to help explore a specific degree program or to gain specific knowledge before committing to a full program of study can apply for nonmatriculant status (also known as special student status), by completing the Graduate Special Student Application. Nonmatriculant students are limited to 12 credits, subject to advisement. Within the M.S. in Tourism Management program, nonmatriculant students are limited to nine credits.
