Many students in our graduate programs are able to develop a solid plan to pay for their studies through a combination of scholarships, and federal and private loans.

Further Financial Considerations
Health Insurance
New York University requires that students in a degree-granting program maintain health insurance coverage. The annual cost of NYU health insurance is $1,614 for the basic plan and $2,513 for the comprehensive plan. Student health insurance may be waived if you have other health insurance coverage that meets the University's requirements.
On-Campus Housing
The NYU Office of Residential Life and Housing Services is responsible for the overall administration and operation of NYU residence halls. Unfortunately, on-campus housing at NYU is very limited. The few spaces available are open only to students pursuing full-time study and are typically offered for the student’s first year. Information on the housing application process will be available to admitted students. The Office of Admissions serves as the liaison to the NYU Office of Residential Life and Housing Services, so please direct any general questions to us.

Off-Campus Housing
The NYU Off-Campus Housing Office provides assistance to current and newly admitted NYU students, and faculty and staff members who are not eligible for, or not interested in, NYU student housing, including those with families or non-student roommates who are seeking private, off-campus apartment rentals. Housing Resources Beyond NYU
Educational Housing Services provides college students with furnished housing at reasonable prices and without having to pay broker fees. Buildings are located in Manhattan and in Brooklyn.
International House is an independent, nonprofit organization located on the upper west side of Manhattan. It provides residential and programmatic resources to graduate students and trainees.
