Apply to the Diploma Program in Paralegal Studies
Thank you for your interest in the NYU-SCPS Diploma in Paralegal Studies. Below you will find a step-by-step overview of the admissions process for domestic and international students.
NYU-SCPS welcomes candidates with a minimum of 60 undergraduate credits from an accredited undergraduate institution. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, but not required. A limited number of exceptions to this requirement may be made for applicants with significant law-related work experience. See the admissions criteria page for more details.
Because the Office of Admissions operates on a rolling admissions basis, applications for the Diploma in Paralegal Studies are reviewed throughout the year, so you may apply at any time. The priority deadline for application submission is March 30, 2012, but we will continue to accept summer housing applications from applicants enrolled in NYU summer courses throughout the spring and summer. Applicants enrolled for NYU summer courses are guaranteed housing for the dates of their course.
Summer Housing applicants are required to submit a $500 initial payment with their Summer Housing Application. This $500 payment will be credited to the applicant's account and will count towards overall summer housing costs. The balance of payment must be made by the Friday following the start of the applicant's reservation. For example, summer residents who checked in on Sunday, July 10, 2011 had to pay their full summer balance by Friday, July 15, 2011.
For further information, visit the NYU Office of Summer Housing.
For students planning to live off-campus, the NYU Off-Campus Housing Office can assist you with your living arrangements once you are admitted.
