Undergraduate Admissions

APPLICATION DEFERRAL

If you are admitted to an undergraduate program and are not able to begin studies in the semester that you were admitted, you may defer your application for one academic year. To defer your application, you must submit a request in writing to the SCPS Office of Admissions, mcgheeadmissions@nyu.edu. All deferred applications are reviewed for the new semester, as admission parameters may change.

After one academic year, you are required to submit a new application and all required credentials (official high school transcripts and transcripts for all colleges attended).
