Undergraduate Admissions

NON-MATRICULANT STATUS


Students who wish to take credit courses at the McGhee Division on the undergraduate level may apply as a special student for non-matriculant status. All students are required to meet with an academic advisor and must meet all prerequisites for courses.


POST BACCALAUREATE STUDIES 

The Post Baccalaureate classification is for applicants who already possess baccalaureate degrees. Students are limited to 24 credits. Applicants must submit official copies of all transcripts from post-secondary schools, a photocopy of undergraduate degree, or final transcripts indicating graduation.

DEGREE COMPLETION
The degree completion classification is for applicants who need 30 or fewer credits to complete a degree at another institution. Students are limited to 30 credits. Applicants must submit official copies of all transcripts. Students must have an agreement in writing from the Registrar at their home institution and approval from the Associate Dean of the McGhee Division.

VISITING STUDENT 
The visiting student classification is for students who are in good standing at another institution and have permission to take courses at New York University. Students are limited to 30 credits.

SPECIAL STUDENT STATUS

All other applicants: Students are limited to 12 credits. All applicants are required to submit official or student copies of transcripts.
