Alumni Benefits, Services, and Events

The NYU School of Professional Studies alumni form a vibrant community that reflects the School’s dynamic, professionally focused programs. The Office of Alumni Relations and alumni chapters plan a full calendar of social and academic events that encourage alumni to network, to stay in contact with old friends and make new ones, and to maintain a lasting relationship with the School.

Our alumni network is not limited geographically to New York City. Graduates live and work across the country and around the globe. The Office of Alumni Relations is committed to helping alumni stay connected and to ensuring that our alumni groups flourish. If you have questions about any benefits, services, or events, send us an e-mail at NYUSPS.Alumni@nyu.edu.

Alumni status at the School is granted to matriculated graduate and undergraduate students.

NYU Alumni Card

In 2014, NYU announced an exciting new alumni benefits program—the NYU Alumni Card! As part of our alumni community of almost 470,000, you are eligible for discounts on entertainment, dining, travel, transportation, shopping, financial services, insurance, and more. You can also access alumni resources including the eLibrary, Wasserman Career Center, and are eligible for an NYU e-mail address for life. Alumni Cards were mailed to US addresses in September 2014. Your Card gives you access to local discounts and will allow you to show your Violet Pride, but you don’t have to wait to start taking advantage of the new program! If you didn't receive your card, be sure to update your address to be included in the next mailing later this year.

Invitations to Events

The NYU School of Professional Studies offers events for its alumni both at the program and the School-wide level. These events consist of panel discussions, networking and social receptions, as well as community service opportunities. The School also offers a variety of public events and programming that are open to our alumni.

In addition, the University holds regional and international events of interest and events planned by other NYU schools and alumni affinity groups and clubs.
