INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

New York University welcomes more students from other countries than any other private university in the United States. Last year, the American Language Institute provided English language services to 2,500 students from 70 countries.

The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) offers a wide variety of programs and services designed to help our diverse student population make the most of their NYU experience and grow within a community of scholars and fellow professionals. NYU’s Office for International Students and Scholars assists international students with all matters of special concern to them and serves as a referral source to other University offices and academic departments.
