This certificate program provides foundational training for professionals interested in beginning or advancing in the field of career planning and career management. Practitioners learn to help clients explore short- and long-term career options and design practical strategies for shaping and pursuing career goals. Areas of study include job search in today's Internet-driven marketplace, diversity issues in the workplace, career-related assessment tools, career planning and change for baby boomers, professional development, and others. The certificate counts toward recertification by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
