PROSPECTS FOR M.S. IN DIGITAL IMAGING AND DESIGN GRADUATES
Your alumni network includes many digital imaging professionals who have honed their skills in our classrooms and who now work across the spectrum of the profession. New York is home to acclaimed studios such as the feature film animation company Blue Sky Studios and Curious Pictures, which produce live action, stop motion, and 3-D animation for commercials and children’s programming like Nickelodeon.
On the West Coast, positions in the large Hollywood production houses most often are for specialists with advanced skills. Feature film animation companies like Dreamworks and Pixar Animation Studios set the standard. Companies such as Electronic Arts, the world’s leading independent developer and publisher of videogame titles, and Industrial Light & Magic, the film effects company begun by George Lucas, are also located on the West Coast. Through CADA, you may find job placements in the industry on either coast.
