Diploma in Credit Analysis

If you work in commercial or investment banking, consumer credit, corporate treasury management, or you're responsible for any type of credit product, the NYU Diploma Program in Credit Analysis can give you the training you need to expand your expertise and further your career.

This program provides professionals with the analytic and technological skills required by all types of businesses that deal in credit. NYU provides the quality and depth of training that is usually only available in-house at top financial institutions. Our students, many of whom have M.B.A.s or other advanced degrees, choose electives emphasizing either commercial banking or a broad overview of credit issues.

The credit professional must determine who should get credit, how much should be extended, what kind of payment terms are required, how to make sure credit gets paid, and what to do if it isn’t repaid. The Diploma in Credit Analysis teaches you to master the processes involved in investigation, analysis, market awareness, transaction structuring, statistical modeling, customer communication, collections, and interpreting laws and regulations.

Candidates for this diploma should have at least one year of credit or credit-related experience.
