CAREER COUNSELING AND PLACEMENT
We encourage students to visit the program office to review the employment opportunities file. Additionally, the services of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies are available to all diploma students. SCPS has an extensive Career Resources Library, and offers many free career planning and placement workshops throughout the year, including cover letter and resume writing, and job-hunting strategies for paralegals, and lifetime access after graduation to the job listings file.

SCPS OFFICE OF CAREER MANAGEMENT
The SCPS Office of Career Management offers programs and services designed to assist the school's degree candidates with career planning. Through workshops, seminars, networking events, and career counseling, our advisors guide students and provide professional support. Our advisors help students articulate their new talents to potential employers and identify positions that match their skills and goals. Students create a job search plan, learn to write an effective résumé and cover letter, and sharpen their interviewing and negotiation skills. SCPS students also have access to an assortment of services offered by the NYU Office of Career Management, including one-on-one counseling, seminars, mentor programs, and NYU CareerNet, an online job database.
