NYU SCPS Design, Digital Arts, and Film alumni, Beth Kruvant, scores a heartfelt success with her Documentary, Heart of Stone, which has won the Audience Award, Slamdance Film Festival; Best Feature Film, Philadelphia Film Festival; Best Documentary Feature Jury Award, Cinequest Film Festival; and the Kaiser Permanente Thrive Award, Cinequest Film Festival. Beth studied Documentary, Development, Research and Financing (X34.9425) with Thom Powers. Heard of Stone has recently received three more prestigious awards:

SCPS Film Adjunct is Tribeca Film Festival Winner
"Not Just Editing": Adjunct comments in Post Magazine about training trends Adjunct instructor Jim Geduldick, comments on post production and VFX industry trends in a recent interview with Post Magazine. Regarding training required for the field, he says, "Editors need to know not just editing, but a little about graphics, about workflows, the cameras, a bit about the pipeline…especially if it involves visual effects.”
Jim Geduldick teaches courses in Digital Arts. Adjunct a judge for Daytime Emmys Johnna Gottlieb, NYU SCPS Design, Digital Arts, and Film, adjunct instructor, will be judging the Daytime Emmys for the third year on two panels, "Outstanding Performer in Animation"and "Outstanding Promotional Advertising-Episodic." Johnna teaches Voiceover: Beyond the Booth (X34.8111) Faculty Member wins Emmy in WGBH Open Call Noah Harlan, NYU SCPS Design, Digital Arts, and Film adjunct instructor, won an emmy award for his war time short, A Clearing in the Fog. |
