Increase your understanding of global affairs and explore international career paths by learning from experts in politics, economics, law, and international relations. This program covers the political, economic, social, and cultural issues that shape relations throughout the world. Gain insight into the work of the United Nations, specialized international agencies, private sector firms, and nongovernmental organizations through private briefings and site visits. Participate in a global crisis decision-making exercise involving interactive negotiation and crisis resolution.
Upon successful completion, students receive the Certificate in Global Affairs, a renowned credential usually requiring six semester-long courses.
Each student will take three required courses:
Students will also choose three electives. Required courses and electives will meet twice a week for an hour and 40 minutes. Student schedules will vary based on the electives chosen. Please see the course blocking to see when the courses will run throughout the Institute.
