Vital Voices Seven Documentary Play

“SEVEN,” a unique theatrical collaboration between seven extraordinary women and seven award-winning female playwrights, offers an inspiring glimpse into the lives of women leaders who have overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to achieve justice and freedom.

Panel discussion moderated by Tina Brown, founder and editor-in-chief, The Daily Beast

Program also includes:

Hosted by the Center for Global Affairs at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies and Vital Voices Global Partnership, the play is based on personal interviews with seven women leaders who fought to bring about progress in their home countries of Russia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Guatemala, and Cambodia.

After the performance, five of the seven women will participate in a panel discussion on the challenges that women face worldwide and the actions that can be taken to continue our progress.
