CONCENTRATION IN STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP
This concentration addresses the need for managers and business leaders to understand how to
motivate employees and develop a culture of trust, integrity, and profit in the global,
customer-centric marketplace. The concentration was also designed to address the lack of clear and
ethical leadership and the suspect business strategies that have resulted in the recent outbreak of
business collapses and corporate scandals. The curriculum was developed with the input of industry
executives to equip students with the skills and techniques required most for managerial and
strategic decision making. Through a choice of specialized courses, students receive a highly
practical, interactive learning experience with real-world simulations building on the theory that
forms the basis of best practices.
