CONCENTRATION IN STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP

This concentration addresses the need for managers and business leaders to understand how to motivate employees and develop a culture of trust, integrity, and profit in the global, customer-centric marketplace. The concentration was also designed to address the lack of clear and ethical leadership and the suspect business strategies that have resulted in the recent outbreak of business collapses and corporate scandals. The curriculum was developed with the input of industry executives to equip students with the skills and techniques required most for managerial and strategic decision making. Through a choice of specialized courses, students receive a highly practical, interactive learning experience with real-world simulations building on the theory that forms the basis of best practices.
