CERTIFICATE IN BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY

If you use IT for business or interact with IT professionals--from CIOs to database administrators--this program provides you with the fundamentals of how IT systems work.Upon completion of the program, students:

  • Understand how to plan and implement technology solutions to make business processes more efficient.
  • Understand the concepts and features of the distributed processing model known as client/server systems.
  • Have the skills necessary for implementation, use, administration, and troubleshooting of a complete client/server system.
  • Have the ability to plan a database for business purposes.This certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete four courses--three required and one elective.
