CERTIFICATE IN ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATION

As a database administrator, you may choose to specialize in Oracle databases. If so, you need to learn Oracle's official curriculum and be prepared to take the Oracle Certification Examinations. This certificate provides a thorough understanding of the primary architecture, design, implementation, performance monitoring, optimizations, and tuning necessary to become an Oracle database administrator.

Upon completion of the program, students have the ability to:

• Plan a database.
• Use SQL.
• Build and maintain Oracle databases.
• Conduct performance tuning of a database.
• Perform backup and recovery tasks and techniques.
• Network the database server.

This certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete the three required courses.

Although not required, we strongly recommend that students in this program have sufficient knowledge equivalent to the subject matter covered in the following course:
