The Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management provides students with a strong foundation to advance within the evolving HR profession, with coursework in dispute resolution, team building, coaching, benefits, and communication. The graduate certificate is in complete alignment with the professional competencies outlined by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). The SHRM competency model is globally accepted as the highest professional standard for the practice of human resources.
This 18-credit program is comprised of two required courses, followed by four electives, all selected from the M.S. in Human Resource Management and Development master's degree curriculum. Students wishing to matriculate into the master's program may receive graduate credit for courses completed in this graduate certificate.
