ALUMNI
Alumni are essential to the ongoing strength of NYU's School of Continuing and Professional
Studies. The SCPS Office of Alumni Relations works with the NYU Alumni Association, school alumni
board members, students, faculty, and administration to enhance community awareness of our
educational programs, provide opportunities to further professional and intellectual interests, and
support SCPS through professional contacts and fundraising.
For each entering class, our alumni lead a panel discussion on how to succeed in grad school
and how to plan for the job market. In Fall 2007, the panel featured alumni from Citigroup,
Lacoste, Datatron, MediaEdge/WPP, JP Morgan Chase, Sirius Satellite Radio, and Nestle.
Graduates are in a range of marketing roles, ranging from Search Engine Marketing to brand
advertising, circulation marketing, multi-channel e-commerce/retail marketing, catalog marketing,
database management, web metrics, CRM, brand management, digital agencies, direct-marketing
agencies, financial services, mobile marketing, and strategic planning. Companies with recent
