ASSOCIATE'S DEGREES

The McGhee Division offers associate’s degree programs in a variety of areas: The Associate in Arts (A.A.) in Liberal Arts provides a strong foundation for students choosing to continue on toward a bachelor’s degree, make a career change, or advance in their present careers.

The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) programs in Business, Information Systems Management, Health Administration, and Diagnostic Medical Sonography are designed for students who want to focus on professional areas such as general accounting, systems analysis, healthcare management, and abdominal sonography.

The Associate in Applied Science degree programs in health are offered through the Center for Allied Health Education located at 726 Broadway. Clinicals in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program are included in your course of study so you can fully connect your academic experiences with the world beyond the University. The skills you acquire in this program enable you to think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, analyze problems, and lead others - important knowledge for healthcare professionals.
