B.A. in Social Sciences: Sociology

SOCIOLOGY CONCENTRATION

Sociologists study the way humans construct social structures and build social institutions, communities, nations, and states. They accomplish this goal through an analysis of the full range of behaviors and interactions that shape the human experience. Our curriculum offers the tools and knowledge to help you understand and make sense of the rapidly changing world around you. After completing this concentration, you are prepared for graduate study in sociology or other social science fields. If you are interested in a career in social services, public administration, health, law, social research, or policy making, this concentration is ideal.
