It is the mission of the Paul McGhee Division to prepare motivated students for success in an increasingly connected and globally interdependent world. Travel and study abroad programs offer a unique way of developing the intercultural skills that are necessary for success in today’s global environment. McGhee provides support, advising, and scholarship opportunities for students who wish to take advantage of the several travel and study abroad opportunities offered.

Etta Kallman Memorial Scholarship
McGhee students who have completed their first semester of study are eligible to apply for the Etta Kallman Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship was established to provide financial assistance for short-term travel/study abroad for adults who, because of financial constraints and/or family and work conflicts, must usually forgo this enriching experience. Awards range from $1,000 to $2,000.
Bart Lawson Scholarship
This $4,000 award provides four credits of coursework towards the Senior Project or Independent Study to students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Management Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, or a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with concentrations in Economics or International Studies, who are interested in working on a project aimed at enhancing the quality of life of the Grenadian people. Recipients who visit Grenada to work on their projects also receive reimbursement for travel expenses.
